Wyoming jumped up four spots to lead the 16-team field with a score of 567 (287-280). Colorado is in second-place with a score of 568 (285-283). Wicklund’s 72 put him tied for 39th-place with a total score of 147 (75-72), while MacDonald is a stroke back from his classmate with a total score of 148 (76-72). Freshman Shayne Patel carded a three-over par 75 for a 36-hole total of 152 (77-75). Senior Tommi Avant recorded a 78 for score of 154 (76-78). Freshman Lucas Scherf capped of the team’s performance for the day with a total score of 155 (76-79). We also made more putts along with more birdies. We did have a few doubles and a ton of bogies which hurt us,” said Drake head coach Matt Lewis.” “I thought both Kyle and Chase played solid all day.
