She ended it with her first three career goals.The hat trick from the freshman forward propelled No. 5 Syracuse (2-0) to a 3-0 shutout win over No. 25 Pacific (1-1) on Sunday afternoon.Pacific had six first-half penalty corners but failed to convert, entering halftime trailing by one. Hoffmann, a native of Mulheim an der Ruhr, Germany, scored her first goal with under a minute remaining in the first half.In the second half, Hoffmann poured in two more goals, with about seven minutes of game action separating them.
